Splashes of Fun

A life without love is like a year without summer. - Sweddish Proverb
Well,  living in a tropical country is having summer all year round and I never regret it.  I dream of having white christmas and making snow angels too.  And I love love love making sand castles anytime of the year and diving underwater.  Yep,  that is the real me.  Beach lover.  A Mermaid with feet.
This week Best creations will show you all the fun in making water pages and how much we all love water.  Fussy cutting is easy with the Splash Fun collection to create the water. Of course,  with helmar Adhesives  our pages will always stand out.  Just like my own quote "  Behind every beautiful artwork is a glue - and that is Helmar!"
If you hop over to the Best Creation blog from now till the weekend, you will find lots of water-themed projects. There are guessing games with prizes to be won and many of the designers are having giveaways on their blogs.
Here's my two pager using Splash Fun:

close up on first page:  I used zap dots for lots of 3d  on those cute splashes.  Misting added more "splashes" on my page
a close up on page #2:
and there goes the ball!  It really looks like it created splashes on my page.

For a chance to win on my blog, leave me a comment by June 24th and I will draw one winner to win a pack of 6x6 collection and some extras.  Yes,  I will post anywhere in the world.

Make sure to visit other BC designers too.  Have great day!

Bring it On!

The boys really enjoyed their bonding moment last holy week in Lola's resthouse in Tagaytay. After swimming, monkeying around and running, everyone waited for their own turn to play the PSP.

Summertime!!!!

Grab your suntan lotion and a towel and
get ready for a fun Summertime Hop to get some great ideas
to get caught up with old summer photos and lots of ideas
for inspiring you for this summer too!!

Our first stop on this weekend hop is to Liz's blog and then
off to a idea packed hop with the rest of the team .
If you  arrived from Karen's blog,  you are on the right track,
if not,  head on to Liz's blog to start the blog hop.

It is with great joy to share that I live in a country surrounded with
beautiful beaches,  some with clear pristine waters,
others with bountiful marine life. As a diver and an outdoor person,
I would not let summer pass without heading to the beach.

For my lay-out,  I played with Surf's Up collection.   I used zap dots by Helmar for some dimension on the page and of course Helmars glue. The waves were fussy cut and layered with the scallop paper.  Its my youngest nephew first trip to the beach and of course, this  moment should be recorded with style.
Highlight on the fussy cutting that serves as my sun embellishment.  The zap dots gave it the dimension I needed.

And now,  you should be heading on to Sarah's blog.

And of course we have lots of chances to win some of
our New June releases and 6x6 mini packs too. Be sure
and leave a comment on either Facebook or the blog
or sign up as a new Follower!!!

Happy hopping!

All Star Baby and cards

The new baseball papers of Best Creation is not only for baseball themed projects.  And since the boys in my life are not yet into baseball and baseball is not famous sport here in the Philippines,  I used the papers to create a boy page instead.
I added some stamping using my inkido stamp.

some close ups:
and cards using the Baseball collection and 6x6 pad:
I used whipper snapper stamp here and colored with my copic pens,
and a father's day card for hubby.  He is not a captain of any sport  but he is the captain in our life!

Thanks for dropping by and have a great week ahead!

Back in Manila

We all had so much fun in our vacation in Singapore.  From Universal Studio to Singapore Zoo, from Sentosa to the beaches.   The best part of my trip is meeting co designer Sandy Ang in person and picking up my supplies in 'K"rafers Paradise.  Yup,  I will be their guest designer!

showing off the Best Creation packs sold in 'K'rafers Paradise
Sandy and I chatted like long lost friends.  We even took a  late lunch since we didn't notice the time.

And now,  sharing a lay-out using the Gone camping collection of Best Creation.   Its also perfect for some indoor photos.  I used my sizzix Tim holtz dies to create the flower and top it up with the stickers from the collection.

Also check out the Best Creation blog for lots of outdoor and indoor inspiration for Gone camping.

Greetings from Sunny Singapore

Hey there!  Greeting you from sunny Singapore!  Yup, still on vacation and enjoying our family bonding here.  I woke up way too early.  Excited to meet my friend Sandy Ang and have a visit in her LSS.
We had a great time in Universal Studios and at the Singapore zoo.  The kids had a blast!  I know it was quite tiring  and ending our day with a night cap by the beach was really relaxing.  It was really a great idea to stay here in Sentosa.

And here's a lay-out I made using Inkido's new forever line.  Its so feminine and really classy and suits well my sister's photos.  Her friend Gina is a great photographer and Kaye really enjoyed being her model.  Oh, it was her dream to be a model someday.

Thanks for dropping by and I hope everyone is having so much fun just like me.  See you around!
