Happy Tuesday!

or should I say Happy Monday for some of my international friends.

Here's my newest lay-out for Inkido.  The autumn papers are perfect for any occassion pages.  My nephew Bins is already 4 mos and getting heavier each day, not to mention getting cuter too by the minute.

I fussy cut the flowers for some flower cluster with metal embellishement and pearls, all from inkido.
Here are some close-ups.

Please visit the Inkido blog for lots of inspirations from other design teams.

Coastal Clean up 2010

Last weekend, we joined a hundred of University of the Philippines students, divers and environmentalist to take part in the Coastal Clean up.   This clean up is organized by Dive Republic and was held at Outrigger Resort in Anilao, Batangas.
This year,  I didn't join the divers and my husband for the  underwater clean up.  Instead,  I joined the swimmers as I teach awareness to Zid.  I miss diving of course, and yet,  bonding with Zid was more important.    And you can see it really shows in our photo together.

Glen with our friend, Doc Al

Zid with our collected trash
and being awarded as the youngest clean up participant,
and my two wacky boys!
Thanks for dropping by and hope you had wonderful weekend too!

Winter Wonderland

I dream of white christmas and was so happy that my sister gets to experience it in one of her lay-over flights in United Kingdom this year.

In this lay - out, I used Christmas Elegance - Snowfall and Snowfall stripes and fussy cut the snowflakes from Sweet candy flakes.  Of course,  I wouldn't be complete without the floral clusters from Inkido and kort og Godt.

Here are some close-ups:

Father

This lay-out is a tribute to my Dad using the sketch at the Dollhouse.

Materials:  Patterned Paper all Pink paislee, chipboard - MME.
Journaling:  Papa & Me, Manila Zoo 8 years ago lay-out 9/2010

Hidden journaling:

To the man who wakes up before sunrise,
to drive me in  all my competitions
To the man who buys the books,
I want and need before I ask for them
To the man whose always tagging along
the video camera
to capture every moment of our life
To the man who had big dreams
for his children
To the man who supported
all our endeavors no matter how big or small
To our Great Papa
who had build a solid foundation in each one of us

I may not be the ACCOUNTANT LAWYER you dreamt of me
or the ENGINEER I've wanted to be

I know you were proud of me for being the ARTIST,
I've grown up to be and for the path I have chosen.
You are very well missed and I want to let the whole world know
what a great Father you had been to us.

I love you.
