Have you watched the movie 'Pay it Forward'? Well, crafters have taken up the call. I have seen several sites and responded on one (to start with) to Pay it Forward. The rules are simple. The first 5 people to sign up in the comment section of my blog will receive one handmade card from me this year. They will also copy the picture posted above and post on their blog about this 'challenge'. They, in turn, will also forward something that they make to their first 5 responders, and so on.
I am accepting this challenge form Gale of Playing with Paper who makes lovely cards. I am also a participant on the on going One world one heart event.
This will be the fifth and last One World One Heart blog event hosted by Lisa, the Whimsical Bohemian. This will be my third year to be a part of this joyful blogging event. I have met lots of friends and inspirations around the world. I am sad that this will be the last and I know Lisa have great reasons to choose this year as the final year. Besides, we all could still keep in touch with each other with our blogs.
Now, you have made a stop to the Philippines, an archipelago with lots of beautiful beaches and summer all year round. (Oh we have lots of typhoons too!) Enjoy your tour as you visit my lovely country!
I am Jona, an outdoor person. A working mom by day and a scrapbooker at night. I also love doing ATC's and swap with crafty friends around the world. I am also a cardmaker and loves to alter things and turn trash to treasures. My inspirations are my very supportive husband, Glen and my 5 year old son, Zid (you can see them in the photo at the top right). And of course, you are all more than welcome to browse my blog to see my work.
This year, I have several prizes to give. First, my dreams and imaginations ATC. Its a 4 ATC and when pieced together this is how it will look like. The lucky recipient may keep them all or share with friends. I used Tim holtz stamp, prima and Inkido stamps here.
Second, my tulips ATC and a little stamp. I am still learning to use copics and blending them
And third, my hello friend ATC.
All these ATC's were made last December after I got my email from Lisa about OWOH. I want to prepare early so I won't cram when the day comes. I know it will be a busy blogging event again as last year there are more than 1,000 participants. Thank you Lisa for organizing such a wonderful event and for connecting us all.
Leave me a comment on this post to be eligible for the random drawing of my prizes. Please make sure that I have a way of contacting you via email when the prizes are drawn on Feb 17.
Happy One World One Heart everyone! Enjoy your tour as we travel worldwide!!!
Yeay, my very first lay-out for the year 2011. And start of scrapping my December and Christmas photos. I know I have lots of back log and photos from August that needs to be scrapped.
In this page, I used two christmas lines of Inkido, Christmas Elegance by Kristine and Gammaldags Jul by Anne Marie. I just loved the layering and the cluster of the embellishments. Inkido got gorgeous flowers and embellishments to bout!
Last week, I had the privilege to attend another class by Iris Uy. This time new art mediums were introduced to us. I really had fun playing with the art mediums and with webster pages - hollywood vogue line.

"Your love fills my heart with joy" - our anniversary month lay-out.
"Pure Love" - my sister and Bins (her youngest)

Those are the numbers of my finished projects for 2010. I was able to make 96 lay-outs, 14 cards, 10 Altered arts, 2 mini albums and 43 ATC's (that is because I joined several swaps). Yeay!!!
And here's my favorites in random order:
I heart this water papers from Best Creation.
Using lots of Pink Paislee (one of my favorites) and a heartfelt journaling for Papa:
I loved the mini banners I made using the glitter papers of Best creation:
The Love Art tray using Inkido papers and embellishments:
My first project for Best Creation, a cute halloween decor:
love those snowflakes and this card is also published in Scrapbooks News and Review
And my favorite ATC for this year (much prettier in IRL)
Here's a closer look on the travel line. I want this line so much!!! I hope its in my box. And while you guys are anticipating for the release of the new lines this CHA, Best creation is having a rak and have a chance to win this line. So better hurry up and check out Best Creation blog!
Have a nice day! And thank you so much for all the visits here in my blog!
2010 has been a good year to me and my family. I thank the Lord for all the blessings He had showered us last year.
Singapore was not in my bucket list as the first country to visit and I was given an opportunity to visit such a wonderful country courtesy of my very loving colleagues and superior. Zid and I had so much fun in Sentosa and Singapore zoo, meeting my high school chums Check, Jheng, Ciello and of course, meeting in person Jaz Lee, a very creative scrapbooker I admire.
Then, we had our family vacation in Hongkong to visit Hong Kong Disneyland. Making a childhood dream a reality. I sure had fun in meet and greet with the Disney characters.
Our family had a new member - my youngest nephew, Bins who is growing cuter by the minute. He is the newest inspiration in my scrapbook pages.
As an outdoor person, a trip to the beach wouldn't be complete for us. We were able to visit Bantayan Island in Cebu. It may be a strenous trip but we still had fun. I'm still in love with their beach.
I have been on two manufacturer design teams - Inkido, a sweddish company and Best Creation, an American manufacturer who makes glittery papers. And luckily, I will be continuing my design team positon with them this 2011.
There a lot of things I am so excited this 2011,
First, the new lines of Best creation coming this CHA winter 2011. I can't wait to get my hands on them!
Second, I am claiming that this year we will be blessed with baby #2! I know, I may be asking a lot but I believe in Him that He had prepared me already and He will answer our prayer this year.
Third, with Him with our side, there is nothing I have to worry about!
Happy new year again everyone! Wishing and sending you lots of love and happiness this year!
