Good News!!!

I made it to the Summer/ Fall Design team of Scrapbook Heaven. My term will start on July 2008 til December 2008. This is my first ever kit design team and I'm so happy. Can't wait to see the kits Shannon and Sarah have planned for the semester. I'm so excited to work with awesome and talented DT at the the SH.

Fun, Fun , fun under the sun

Its been awhile since the last time we went to Anilao, Batangas. Luckily, Mama Susie decided to celebrate her birthday at the beach last weekend. (yeah, we could dive!!!) Its been three years since the last time we went diving.

We arrived at the resort just before the sunset. It was breathtaking, I took some photos and Glen took more photos and of course much much more spectacular than mine. Zid decided to plunge into the water without letting me change him into his swimsuits. I wasn't even able to change my outfit. (Photo above taken by Glen, below from my camera)

The next day, I woke up at 6am for kayaking while waiting for our scheduled dive. I'm not too excited, I woke up earlier than my alarm. Our Dive guide arrived an hour late, which is okay since Glen is still asleep and I have a dose of snorkeling in front of the beach. Its so much fun to see beautiful fishes up close and personal again. There are lots of jelly fish and I saw one that is really strikingly beautiful and dangerous at the same time. It could really sting you so bad.

The dive went well and we were down for 36 mins at Daryl Laut. Its a sunken restaurant in the Mabini bay. I really don't like that dive site but Glen wanted an easy dive for us to check our skills in bouyancy and endurance in diving. So it was an easy dive but the visibility was not really clear. I still enjoyed it and it still bring so much joy in my heart. Now, I'm looking forward to our next dive. When could it be, I just hope not next year.
Before and after dive photos.
Thanks for visiting. Hope you had a great weekend too.

Scrapfest fun

We had another successful Scrapfest. Thank you so much to Scrappin Moms for organizing such a wonderful events for all of us scrappers here in Manila. Special thanks to our very own MM Master Iris Uy for gracing the event and giving a demo to all of us. Here's Iris in action.
I had so much fun doing the demo and learning new skills. I'm not really used to stamping and it was very helpful learning new stamping techniques like masking, kissing, embossing. I only finished two pages for the minibook at the event and finished the rest at home until 3 am. I said I was already tired but looking at all my goodies, I just couldn't resist doing it. Besides, I don't want Glen to see it until father's day. Here's what I have done.

For the scrapfest challenge, we were given a corrugated cardboard to use in our lay-out and use all the materials in our challenge kit. I was just so happy that my kit is Urban Lily boy pages. Yahoo, it really matches the photo of Zid. Of course, there should also be at least 1 photo printed from Canon Selphy since they are our major sponsor. I'm not really bagging the prize of canon selphy but challenging myself to finish the lay-out in an hour. I'm such a slow scrapper and was already tired by then. I'm still so happy with what I was able to accomplish. Thanks for Vivian of Lasting Impression, her booth is just at my back, I was able to grab thickers to use in my lay-out.

Here's my raffle prizes. I won three raffles, one for the preliminary raffles, Bring a friend raffle and the grand raffle of BG cupcake collection kit with absolutement stamp. I'm so happy!!! I went home tired but very much happy and delighted with my new scrap goodies.

Till next Scrapfest!!! Thanks for dropping by. (My mojo is still high at this moment)

Rekindled Moments Scribble Scrabble Challenge

This is my first time to scrap about my passion for diving. I really love this hobby as much as I love scrapbooking. Both are expensive and yet they both give so much joy in my life.

Materials: Bazill cs, WRMK explore (rugged, racksack, discovery) prima flower and crystals (center and frame), Urban Lily beautiful pp (butterfly), WRMK explore chipboard tag, AC thickers, glossy accents, parakeet brad, uni ball signo pen, misc brad and photo corner.

Hidden journaling: Diving keeps me sane, rejuvenated from stress and relaxes my spirit and body. There's so much joy when I am underwater. Loving all the excitement it brings me as I discover a whole new world. It is also in this hobby that I met my wonderful husband who shares the same passion for diving with me. El nido, Palawan.

Treasured Lay-outs

I got my kit last week from Treasured Scrapbooking for my GDT gig.

May kit 2 "Fearless" is really awesome. Those yummy Basic Grey archaic pp's are really challenging. I was able to make 3 lay-outs already, a mini tag book and a card and there's so much more left in the kit. There's still two kits left at the store. Better grab yours now.

"All Smile"
I added a few things from stash in this lay-out (square brads and WRMK explore chipboards).

Thanks for looking.
