Saturday Lay-outs

Sharing pages I did last weekend while Zid plays with his Gormiti toys. Oh, he still love Ben 10 but his latest craze now are Gormiti toys. We are now down to 21 for his collection. Yup, he plans to collect all 42 characters. After completing the Ben 10 toys, I thought we are finished but alas, he found a new craze. Ahhh, boys will be boys and my boy thinks he is not a toddler anymore

These were also the pages I did for Treasured Scrapbooking crop this weekend.

And, here's a page for my challenge at Scrapbook Heaven this week. hope you can play along, just have lots of distressing on your page. I distressed my papers and inked them, and even crumpled one patterned paper.

Thanks for looking.

Cheapmunks Get Together

We had a get together again this year to have a simple bridal shower for Ochie who is getting married next year.
Zid was me and he entertained my gradeschool friends. We chatted a lot and reminisce our grade school and high school days. Can you believe its more than two decades that we were friends? We have celebrated many milestones together, Anna and Pong's wedding, my own wedding and baptismal and birthdays of our kid. Luckily, it was only Zid who was here with most of my friends.
Here's some photos that captured the moment:

Halloween Photos

The boys had fun trick or treating. Zid enjoyed dressing up but not trick or treating. He just wanted to have his photo taken with his Zorro outfit. He didn't like the truck outfit anymore. Well they all enjoyed their candies afterwards.

Wacs wearing his Flinstones costume (proudly made by my sister!)

My little Zorro just for the pictorial. But won't wear it to trick or treating!
kuya Migs loved his painted face!
Zid just wear on the hat. But he really is cute here.
Have a nice day!

Life Goals

Challenge at Scrapbook Dreamer is to create a lay-out with your 5 bucket list. Here's my take on it. Since I don't have a photo printed available, I printed my photo in a transparency. I loved it. Might as well do it again.
5 dream items: swirl - prima bling, making memories pp - passport & b&w journaling pad, Black & white photo - printed in transparency and inverted to protect the print; fussy cut - cut-out flowers from pink paislee spring fling pp; chipboard - Queen & co alpha chipboard; additional - handwritten journaling.

Others: AC thickers, prima flowers, pink paislee spring fling pp, misc lace.

Journaling: trip to Paris, Italy and greece, dive in tubattaha with glen and not guilty for leaving Zid at home, have my very own cakeshop and eventually established my name in the industry, have my dream house with a huge kitchen and pantry and my very own scraproom, trip to the US to attend CHA and meet my dear scrappy online friends.

The Last Lecture

I just finished reading this book by Randy Pausch and I was really inspired by him. For all his strenght and how he made his childhood dreams come to a realization. It just so sad that such a good man left the world so early when he could have contributed so much to computer science and to all of us.

After reading the book, all my childhood dreams came back to my mind and I have been thinking which ones I have acquired so far and if I am near to them.

As a young child, I always wanted to become a pediatrician but then education is so expensive and I learned that i can't handle the grossy stuff medical students does. So I got the Hotel and Restaurant Management degree and earned cake decorating skills with it and other skills like flower arrangement and napkin folding.

I always dreamt to be a princess with a four poster bed. I never got this bed until now. But I will buy that bed when we have our very own home. My mom got one for herself. She's the queen anyway.

I dream of Paris and staying in Ritz Carlton Hotel. Oh, I will do this. Glen and I are saving for our European trip. I just hope we are still young to enjoy the whole trip.

As I grow older, I had more mature dreams and dreams that I know I can accomplish. I wished to have my name in the cake decorating world. I did in our town in Antipolo but I have to stop when I gave birth. I will continue this and I will be working on this together with my dream to have my own cakeshop.

I still dream of diving in Tubattaha. And visiting El Nido, Palawan with my family. I have simple dreams and I live a simple life. I am happy with that.

What are your childhood dreams?

And it is such a nice coincidence that the first challenge at Scrapbook Dreamer is to have a dream in your title. here's a lay-out I did for Zid.
