Tribute to Papa

In honor of Father's in this month, I finally had a courage to write this journaling for Papa. He was such a good father to all of us. We had a lot of misunderstandings and we fought a lot, argued on almost everything but he was always at my side and at my back in everything that I do. He was still here, I'm sure he would be proud of me for what I have become as a scrapper. I may never be the accountant/lawyer he dreamed about me but he was always proud how I become as an artist from culinary to cake artist and now as a scrapbook artist.

Papa, this one's for you!

Materials: Basic Grey archaic (dirty), Making memories noteworthy pp’s, jenni Bowlin tangerine floral, Basic Grey perhaps diecut letters, prima flowers, misc twine, cord and bling, memory markers pen.

Journaling: you are always there for me, fought for me, stood by my side, knows my misery even before I speak.

You are my worst critic, bringing out the best in me, pushed me to the limits, to reach my full potential.
You are my stage father, from kindergarten til even after college, always around in every culminating activity, competitions and challenges, tagging along your camera to document every milestone – failure or triumphant.
Even when you were already in pain, you still showed me your strength, and taught me to be strong and showed how wonderful life is.

All that Iam, all that I have were all because of YOU.

Photo Swap

We had two photo swap at Treasured Scrapbooking last month and I joined them both. The first one was with the DT and I got my friend Shelly's cactus photos. It was challenging at first, since I haven't done any plant or animal LO in my life. I really loved it and I made it personal for Shelly.

The next one are with members, this time I got to swap photos with our Hot Nana, Shirley. She really have beautiful grand kids and I just adore the photos of Lizzie. I really loved doing girly pages and I wish to have a baby girl soon.

Here's what Shirley made for me. I really love this photo and I love how Shirley did it.
