2010 Year in Review and exciting 2011

2010 has been a good year to me and my family.  I thank the Lord  for all the blessings He had showered us last year. 

Singapore was not in my bucket list as the  first country to visit and I was given an opportunity to visit such a wonderful country courtesy of my very loving colleagues and superior.  Zid and I had so much fun in Sentosa and Singapore zoo, meeting my high school chums Check, Jheng, Ciello and of course,  meeting in person Jaz Lee, a very creative scrapbooker I admire.
Then,  we had our family vacation in Hongkong to visit Hong Kong Disneyland.  Making a childhood dream a reality.  I sure had fun in meet and greet with the Disney characters.

Our family had a new member - my youngest nephew, Bins who is growing cuter by the minute.  He is the newest inspiration in my scrapbook pages.

As an outdoor person,  a trip to the beach wouldn't be complete for us.  We were able to visit Bantayan Island in Cebu.  It may be a strenous trip but we still had fun.  I'm still in love with their beach. 


I have been on two manufacturer design teams - Inkido, a sweddish company and Best Creation, an American manufacturer who makes glittery papers. And luckily,  I will be continuing my design team positon with them this 2011.

There a lot of things I am so excited this 2011, 
First,  the new lines of Best creation coming this CHA winter 2011.  I can't wait to get my hands on them!

Second,  I am claiming that this year we will be blessed with baby #2!  I know,  I may be asking a lot  but I believe in Him that He had prepared me already and He will answer our prayer this year.

Third,  with Him with our side,   there is nothing I have to worry about!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!!!

I wasn't able to greet you Merry christmas because of all the rush and happenings at home.  This was the first year  that my siblings are together to celebrate christmas.  We had a simple celebration at home and travelled to Tagaytay on Christmas day to visit our vacation house there.  The house was not yet finished in time for Christmas celebration this year.  The kids are not used to celebrate Christmas back home since we always celebrate it out of town with lots of activities to do.  But this time,  we have to relax at home and have some special bonding playing checkers and snakes and ladders which is really not so bad at all.

Before the year ends,  I would like to share with you the last lay-outs I made this week and a card using whipper snapper stamp.

I used the valentine and polka dot glitter papers of Best creation for this card.  The image was colored with copic ciao.  I still have to learn using my copics and I want more colors too!

Christmas Muse

I gave my muse a christmas touch  and used inkido papers, flowers, lace and metal embellishments from inkido and kort og godt.
This muse was from Iris Uy's class this year and stamped with butterfly stamp from Prima.
I used Anne's christmas papers for the skirt and a strip of the christmas elegance for the belt with the lace.  I just loved her new look and perfect christmas decor in our room.

Playing with Scraps

I love using up all my scraps and even the littlest of them.   I even used the halloween die cut paper of Best creation for this page.

I inserted some scraps of prima and basic grey with my glitter dot scraps of Best creation to create this non halloween page for my sister.  My nephew Migs is so young here in this old picture.

Oh, Christmas Tree . . .

I just love looking at Christmas trees and doing the trims with our own tree. 

I am sharing today my projects for Best creation using lots of Christmas trees from the Falala collection.
Here's a simple card with a twist of a ribbon and the Best creation chipboard to complete it.  I guess this is the only card I am keeping for myself this year as part of my collection.

And here's, a door decor  to greet our visitors as they enter our home.

Christmas Rak

Here's a card I made using best creation glitter cardstock and christmas papers and embellished with a snowflake brad.  I will be giving this card to one lucky commenter on this post and the mini christmas kit to another one. The christmas project I am sharing you today is a mini album inspired by Ali Edward's December dailies.  I always try every year to make one and always end up doing nothing.  So instead of doing it everyday,  I just chose the days which I am sure,  I can fill up.

I used lots of Best creation christmas papers to complete my december minibook.  I fussy cut them and added metal embellishments from best creation too.
