Its my time again to share projects at Inkido blog.    Here's another one using the Autumn Friendship papers.  I made some handmade flowers here using the line. That's me and my bff.

And here's my christmas card set,  using the candy tree line.  I just love the soft colors of these papers.

Holidays are over and some great news!

and I'm looking forward to a new one!!!
Hello Everyone!  I am back from our beach holiday and yes,  I am actually,  planning for a new holiday but not soon,  maybe next year.  I really like to plan ahead and make sure that the next holiday will be stress free.

Here's a view of the island we visited - that is Bantayan island in northern Cebu here in the Philippines. We had some fun but not so much since my nephew got sick while we were in the vacation.  The photo below was taken in Tops, with the view of Cebu City.  Zid was already crying since he wanted to go to the mall already.
And I am thrilled to learn today,  that I made it to the Design team of Best Creation.  You can read all the announcement here.

You are my sunshine

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine . . .   you make me happy . . .

I just remembered that song when I started writing this post.  These kids are really my sunshine.   My son and my nephews - Migs, Wacs and Bins.  They really bring lots of joy and (headache) too!

I used the color challenge at Design Dollies to come up with this lay-out.  I just love this summer colors  and Inkido papers  suited well with Webster pages paper.

Materials: Patterned paper - webster pages and Inkido, cardstock - bazill, rub-on - sassafrass, acetate - fancy pants, flowers, lace and pins - inkido, blings - prima.

What's on your Workdesk Wednesday? and New Inkido Stamps

Its another Wednesday dear WOYWWERS!  I just love wednesdays because its the middle of the week and especially love it today because  its just one day away from our vacation.  We'll be hitting the beach for the first time, yippeee!!!  Summer is over here in the Philippines,  but with the tropical weather,  I am hopeful that it will be sunny til our vacation is over (doing the sun dance now.)

Anyways,  here's my messy desk.  I wanted to scrap that photo of my newphews with my son but  don't have the time yet. The papers are from the Mathea line  of Inkido. And there's the ATC  I just finished last weekend.  I am still holding on it  for my collection or if I'm going to trade it. (Sorry for the photo its raining outside.)

And here are the new stamps Inkido just released at the Formex.  I can't wait to play with them.  These are just a few of my favorite.

Thanks for dropping by and don't forget to visit Julia's blog.  Send me sunny thoughts too!

Card from scraps

I made this birthday card using my Inkido scraps  after I made my lay-outs for Inkido.  I used scraps from Tuva autumn papers.  The brown cardstock is from the first kit Inkido sent me. The textured white cs is from a dear scrappy friend who sent me lots of textured cs using her TH folders which I distressed with ink.   I made the sentiment using Photoshop and used a digital element to get the shape then printed it in white cs.

I really am in love with these Inkido blooms.

Have a great weekend!

WOYWW and projects to share

Wow,  where did the time go?  Its wednesday once again and I am grateful for all your visits last week and comments. I had a busy week but still got time to be creative and I know,  I was pretty busy creating ATC's.  My addiction to it is coming back.  I get to use my scraps to create my art cards and trade with friends around the world.

Here's the wall in my desk.  I always make sure that my stuff are within my reach.  That is an altered corkboard which I had collage with my sons's photos,  the bookmark I got from OWOH this year, my art card, my disney autograph book (who says kids should be the only ones to have an autograph book?) and my sons drawings and doodles and his school year calendar (so that I won't forget important dates in school).

Here's a close up of my art card and Zid's photo in the corkboard.  The art card used to be in my 7gypsies art tray before I gave it a new look with Inkido products.

Here's my desk with a finished lay-out I made for a sketch at Design Dollies, the dmc thread  I'm using for crocheting doilies (I finished one already and used in my lay-out below) and an ATC  I'm trading with  a friend.  If you are a scrapbooker like me and haven't heard of the Dollhouse yet,  you will love to play with them too.  They have sketch, color and elements challenges.

Here's my lay-out  up close -  "Darling Angels"   Its is titled such because we named our group Darling Angels of the Resort. We all worked together in a beautiful island resort here in the Philippines - Lagen Island Resort 9 years ago and we have been friends all these years even after our life there.
For this lay-out,  I used the sketch at the dollhouse.
Materials:  Inkido cs, Pink Paislee pp, inkido blooms, My Mind's Eye chipboard and pp and my very own crochet doily.
Journaling:  We will always be friends til wrinkled skin and grey hair.  I miss you guys.  The Darling angels at Greenbelt 5  ( Lesley wasn't here)

And finally,  my "Free" ATC.  I really love it when I get to use my scraps.

Have a nice day and happy blogging.  Don't forget to check out Julia's blog to learn more about this wednesday phenomenon in the blog world.

What's on your Workdesk Wednesday?

I have been reading blogs of  friends for WOYWW for months now,  I said,  I will participate one day.  And finally,  I had the guts to share with you the little corner of my room.  I really have a little space in our bedroom and usually works on the floor when I'm creating multiple projects.  Yup,  when the mojo is there,  I really make sure to do a lot of projects.

On my desk right now are the projects I'm working on for Inkido.  So you got a peak of my future projects wtih Inkido.  The green Tuva autumn paper is actually a finished lay-out that I have to photograph yet and I'm working on a christmas card. The other christmas papers are also on my table  because I was planning to make another card with them.  I also have a few papers out for making ATC's.  I joined at least three swap and a trade in ATC's for all. If you love making ATC and not yet a member of AFA,  I recommend you to join them.

To see more WOYWW participants, head on to Julie's blog.

Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day!

Recycled Art

I gave my 7 gypsies art tray a new look and have to use my art cards to a good use. I just can't let it accummulate dusts in my drawer.
In my lay-out, "I Luv U", I used the EK border punch (borrowed from my dear friend Alma during our last class) to create the border, clustered Pink Paislee spring fling flowers. I also tried to mist my paper with green.
Here, In "Explore", I cut the balloons and luggages from Webster Pages pp, and used misting and masking to add splashes of colors in this adventure page of my son. I also used tim holtz stamp and shabby green door stamps in this lay-out.
It is easier to create a new lay-out, when your art cards speaks for themselves already. I will share my new art tray once it goes live in Inkido blog.
