Weekend Dive
Glen and I together with our closest dive couple, Josh and Mitch (my son's godparents) went to Anilao for our Rest and relaxation dive trip. We arrived at the resort just in time for lunch and Zid found a mantis in the seat. We wasn't even afraid to play with it. He even took out his mantis toy from Kung Fu Panda to play with the real mantis.
We wanted it to be really a relaxing dive so they choose dive sites with no current so that we won't have difficulty. The first dive was at Kirby's rock and we saw lots of stone fish and nudibranch. During our SIT (surface interval time)we found a tiny octupus in the rocks. Of course, Glen brought it back to the resort for Zid.After the second dive at Caban cove, the boys decided that it will be the last dive for the trip. I want another one for tomorrow. So my dear friend John (from my dive group) tag me along to join their group of students. It was so beautiful at twin rocks with the school of jacks swimming along with us. I was really enjoying the coral formation even with bad visibility that I didn't notice that my dive buddies were floating up. Anyway, the whole dive was so great and I even saw two giant clams.
Zid had so much fun playing in the sand and catching little crabs and swimming in the beach. He was so happy to meet my dive friends too. He gave them all high fives and kiss them all. It was really a happy weekend for all of us. The vacation I really wanted.
Some photos we've got during the weekend. More photos to scrap for me.
Thanks for dropping by.
