I just found a new challenge blog - Candy Shoppe Designs and they are having a pre opening challenge - "from this day forward".

Here's my take:
1. something old - the Pink paislee spring fling paper and MM journaling pad.
2. Something borrowed - the sketch of course
3. something new - the kaiser craft pp, October afternoon pp, MME diecuts
4. Something blue - the websters' pompom trim and MME diecut flowers

Journaling: we have so many things in common, and i'm beginning to say "I see myself in you"

Back in Paradise

Here's my take in Janis's challenge for pinoy scrapbookers.

Journaling:El Nido, my paradise, my home for two years. it was great coming back this time as a tourist and with my family. Snake island, El Nido,Palawan

Materials:American crafts pp ( brown- back side), My minds eye - bloom and grow pp and die cuts, Basic grey sugared pp, faux pearls, prima flowers, thickers, queen and co alpha chipboards, may arts ribbon and lace, memory marker pen.

Scrapping again

Finally, gota time off from my addiction in Yoville and Farm Town, (Games in Facebook) and had time to make a lay-out. actually, it was Zid who was urging me to sit and scrap in my teeny weeny scrapbook corner. Thanks my love.

Island get away

We are back from our El Nido island vacation. it so much fun and now, I'm missing it. I used to work for Lagen island Resort of El Nido, 7 years ago. There are a lot of changes and improvement with the resort and with El Nido town. It was nice to back after 7 years with my family.

This is the road we travelled going to El Nido town. it is 8 hours road trip from Palawan capital to El Nido. During hot summer months, you can do it in 6 hours.

And these are the magestic islands of El nido. Who wouldn't love this paradise? I loved it the first time I step my foot in El Nido in 2000. I just have to leave the island because I was too homesick in 2002.

and here's Zid, enjoying the beaches of El Nido. He really had so much fun. Glen enjoyed snorkelling too. Too bad, I lost my mask and snorkel there. Its my first mask and snorkel that I used to use here too 7 years ago.

Its nice to rekindle memories and meet old friends again. Here's my friends from my Lagen times. They are so glad I came back. Too bad i miss the chance of meeting Mayen - my very dear friend in Lagen.
