Scrappy Weekend

I know holy week is a time for recollection, peace and repentance of sins. I am thankful for the life that was given to me and for all the wonderful blessings we received.

This week, I have been creative and been inspired to do all this lay-outs in two days. Most of them for Shannon's sketchy crop at Scrapbook heaven.

and a little closeup. these little boys really make me smile and they really are the best buddies and cousins ever. though, they are like cats and mouse at times.

Altered tray class

I had so much fun learning and doing the class of Iris. Its my first time to attend her class and it was so worth it. All of us were able to get a small prize from Iris - either a prima flower or webster kit. Zid chose a webster kit for me.

here's my take on her class and I know I did alter a lot from her instructions, and had some errors to correct!

Here's a lay-out we made from the extra stuff from the kit. I really enjoyed this class and ended up sleeping at 3am to finish my tray and lay-out.

and since there are still lots of patterns left, I made this lay-out too. I already finished this lay-out for TS contest when I realized it wasn't me who took the photo. So, I have to make another lay-out for the contest.

just got my prima class kit from Iris. I know I didn't follow her instructions and added more prima stuff. I really love sunsets, its soothes my soul and relaxes my spirit.

Scrappindity Feb Swap

Theme this month is Leathers and Lace. I enjoyed playing with this victorian images I found through blog hopping and loved incorporating the laces. Now, can't wait for the ATC's I'll be getting.

Altered Canvass

I made this for my friend Mitzi. I fell in love with her photo and asked her if I can scrapbook it. Then after bloghopping through the magic carpet of OWOH, I was so inspired to create this altered canvass.

OWOH Inspired

I have been enjoying this magic carpet ride with One world One Heart this year. I am not sure if I can visit all the almost 1000 blogs on the magic carpet. I was so inspired by all the artisan's blogs and created this digital collage.

Its time for another challenge at XOXO girls!!!

I enjoyed making this lay-out and I guess Zid enjoyed it too. The numericals were not supposed to be part of the title but Zid wanted to place them there. I find it cute and did not removed them ( at least I was able to use those numbers, thanks son!). Here's Zid posing with the lay-out. Isn't he cute?
